    The Whisky Notes is a dedicated team of whisky lovers lead by Jin and Aaron, committed to providing you with an awesome whisky tasting experience. We offer 3 x 30ml taster drams either as a monthly subscription or adhoc tasting sets for your tasting pleasure. No repeats and with digital tasting notes. Sit back, relax and let our flights continue to surprise.

  • Are our products genuine?

    Yes, we guarantee that all products are 100% authentic, original and genuine. We only work with principal authorized wholesalers for your whisky sets.

  • Where are you based?

    Our warehouse, head office and team are located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

  • How does your subscription service work?

    Each month, you will receive a beautifully crafted The Whisky Notes set, with 3 x 30ml taster drams. No repeats and comes with a tasting mat with dedicated digital tasting notes. Scan the QR code on the tasting mat to reveal the whisky you have just enjoyed! Discover and rediscover whisky for the unique aroma, taste and finish they have to offer through our ‘blind tasting experience’.

  • What about your tasting sets?

    You can also purchase our specially curated tasting sets on our shop page. These work on a similar concept to our subscription, where you will get beautifully crafted The Whisky Notes set, with 3 x 30ml taster drams. These will contain whisky specially curated according to the theme of the tasting set. Scan the QR code on the tasting mat to reveal the whisky you have just enjoyed!

  • What if I want my monthly tasters more than once a month?

    We understand that for whisky aficionados, 3 taster drams a month may not be enough! You can supplement your whisky tasting experience by purchasing our tasting sets on our Shop Page. We will add new tasting sets every month.

  • What does Billing Date mean?

    Our Billing Date only applies for our Subscription service. The Billing Date is the 20th of every month - this is the payment cut off date that you must pay for your Monthly Subscription in order for us to ship out your subscription sets on the first business day of the next month. As an example, if you would like to receive your subscription set in December, you will need to ensure your credit/debit card or e-wallet has sufficient funds for your payment to go through by 11.59pm on the 19th November. This will be handled by our auto-debiting payment gateway.

  • I’m travelling or going to be away - can I pause my subscription?

    Absolutely - you can pause your Monthly or Upfront Subscription at any time before the Billing Date, for no longer than 3 consecutive months. 
    Please contact hello@thewhiskynotes.com at least 48 hours before the Billing Date to request a pause. Your Subscription will be reinstated at the end of the pause.

  • I need to cancel my subscription - how do I do this?

    We will be sad to see you go! You can always cancel your Monthly Subscription by emailing hello@thewhiskynotes.com at least 48 hours before our Billing Date.

    Unfortunately, for Upfront subscriptions, we do not offer cancellations.

  • What if I want to give a Subscription as a gift?

    An excellent gift idea! You may select the desired subscription on our Subscription Page, ensure that the recipient of your gift is listed under the Shipping Address and that you are listed under the Billing Address. The subscription goes to your recipient, and the payment will be charged to your account.

    Alternatively, you can purchase an anti-nosy gift card for your friend or loved ones. They will receive an email with their gift card which they can use to check out on an account they sign up for.


  • When will I receive my order?

    For our Subscriptions, we will ship out on the first business day of every month. Allow for 3-7 business days for your box to be delivered to you.

    For our Tasting Sets, we will endeavor to ship out in the next 1-2 business days after your purchase. Allow for 3-7 business days for your box to be delivered to you.

    For all other orders, allow for 3-7 business days for your order to be delivered to you.

  • Where does The Whisky Notes deliver in Malaysia?

    We are now shipping nationwide to Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia!

  • How does shipping work and how much does it cost?

    All our product pricings are inclusive of free delivery within Peninsular Malaysia.
    For East Malaysia, we charge a small delivery fee of RM10.00. This is reflected automatically once you have put in an East Malaysian address. Our delivery partner will deliver to you or the recipient based on the details in the Shipping Address during the Checkout process. Please ensure that we will be able to reach you on your contact number. Should the items fail to be delivered to a recipient, we reserve the right to redeliver the next business day and at a delivery fee that will be chargeable. 

    In the event where delivery is unsuccessful, it will be considered as a new delivery with a chargeable fee. The new delivery fee will be communicated to you via email, and your order will be redelivered with your approval and once your payment has been received.

  • I need to update my information - how do I do this?

    No problems! You can log on to https://thewhiskynotes.com/accont/login and update your contact details or shipping address. Alternatively, please email hello@thewhiskynotes.com with the updated address, so we can ensure your next delivery goes to the correct address.

  • Can I track where my order is?

    The Whisky Notes customers may track their order and order status by contacting us directly via email hello@thewhiskynotes.com

  • Can I return my order?

    Unfortunately, all goods sold are not returnable. 

    However, if there are any issues with the products you receive or an incorrect product has been delivered, please contact us at hello@thewhiskynotes.com immediately within 72 hours of delivery, with details of the issue and any accompanying photos or descriptions. Please do not dispose of or tamper with the products. Any issues raised after the 72 hours window will be entertained on a case-by-case basis with rights reserved to our decision.
